Hi,
I am house sitting a property in Benmore, Hawthorn st
Yesterday at around 20H30 (not yet being familiar with the alarm systems) I set the alarm off by accident.
Then at about 01H20 in the morning the alarm went off for real, not sure why. May have been something non-threatening but may have been some bastard trying to get in too.
In any case & either way:
I was quite satisfied by the time in which it took Top Security to get to the house to check if everything was ok. They clearly didn’t mess about, is the point.
I only spoke to the one response officer on both occasions, but what I really liked was his attitude. Really. On the first occasion he made me feel that it was not a problem at all that I wasted his time by setting the alarm off by accident. On the second occasion the same, where instead of having an attitude of “ya well just another false alarm from the same oak” he gave me the impression that it didn’t matter, this was his job and he took every call seriously.
His words were “this is how we work”. (As in do the job properly very time irrespective)
Please send this to his manager.
I work in the police reserve and am very familiar with how useless most security companies are, your man last night was sharp though. We need more guys like that.
His attitude was great.
