Yesterday evening I had a theft (for the third time in as many months) of the last remaining furniture from my veranda at the rear of my house. I pressed the panic button on seeing the culprit about to jump out of my property, which did not deter him as he threw the lounger over the wall to an accomplice and managed to take off down the road. Although your patrol car did not respond particularly quickly, when they did arrive and I informed the two officers of what had happened, they sped off to go and search for the thieves. Within about half an hour, your lady in the control room informed me that the two men had been caught and apprehended and shortly thereafter the patrol vehicle returned to my home. I would really like to thank both the officers who came to my assistance as well as the other vehicles which pitched up to assist. The SAP did not arrive till about 23h40 or so and your staff stayed at my gate waiting for them. Your staff on duty in the control room were also extremely helpful and I think all of them including the response team deserve all the praise for a professional and yet kind reaction response.
Please be so kind as to convey my sincere thanks to the gentlemen for their assistance and also for getting back to me this afternoon with the SAP case number details.
